Marcus Moore, 62, father of three and grandfather to another three, is a freelance writer, theatre practitioner and arts consultant.
A Yorkshireman by birth, he has spent most of his adult years living and working in Gloucestershire.
Each daily entry he writes this year will be 2012 characters in length.
The ‘Recent entries’ column links to pieces written in the last thirty days.
All entries appear in one (occasionally two) of the Index pages: Heart, Mouth, Eyes… and so on. An explanation of each of these headings appears on the relevant page.

Hope the move goes well, young ‘un.
Where can I steal a copy of the Soundcheck Blues poem? Time to educate another generation of roadies.

I’m under instructions to tell you my daughter thinks you’re lovely!
Thanks for the invitation into your written world. Very excited. Sorry I am unable to agree with Helena about the photo: feel the authenticity is compromised by the airbrushing of a curl of smoke…. xx
An admirable undertaking Marcus. We have a mutual friend, Fergus. I’ll be following your blog. William Hatchett
